Terms of Use

1. The service

altrouter.ai is an OpenAI-compatible gateway that provides access to third-party models through a single API and key. We route your requests to upstream providers and are not the developer of the models themselves.

2. Account and keys

You are responsible for keeping your API keys secret and for all activity performed with them. Do not share keys with third parties. If a key is compromised, revoke it immediately in your dashboard.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for illegal activity, infringing the rights of others, circumventing restrictions, or sending spam or malicious content.

Your requests are also subject to the usage policies of the upstream model providers; violating their policies may result in restricted access.

4. Payments and credits

The service is prepaid: you top up a balance from which request costs are deducted. Prices are shown in the dashboard and on the models page and may change. Consumed credits are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Availability

We aim for high availability and use failover across providers, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The quality and availability of specific models depend on the upstream providers.

6. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, altrouter.ai is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or harm arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service or model outputs.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes are posted on this page with a new date. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated Terms.
